The SVNK 400G QSFP-DD SR8 optical transceiver is a high-performance, short-reach module engineered to support 400 Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE) connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF) with transmission distances of up to 100 meters. Designed for hyperscale data centers, cloud infrastructure, and high-performance computing environments, this transceiver enables ultra-high-speed, low-latency optical interconnects optimized for dense switch architectures.

Compliant with the QSFP-DD Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and IEEE 802.3cd/cm 400GBASE-SR8 standards, the module uses eight parallel 50G PAM4 optical lanes operating at 850 nm, delivering an aggregate throughput of up to 425 Gb/s. On the electrical side, it supports an 8 × 50G PAM4 (400GAUI-8) retimed interface, ensuring excellent signal integrity and robust system margins.

The optical engine integrates a high-efficiency VCSEL laser array and high-sensitivity photodetectors, optimized for short-reach multimode transmission. A high-density MPO-16 optical interface supports parallel fiber connectivity, making the module ideal for next-generation leaf-spine, AI fabric, and GPU cluster deployments.

Housed in a compact, hot-pluggable QSFP-DD Type-2 form factor, the transceiver supports high port density, efficient thermal performance, and low power consumption (<10 W). Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) and an I²C management interface enable real-time performance tracking and proactive network maintenance.
