SVNK 1GBASE-SX SFP Optical Transceiver (MMF, 850 nm)
The SVNK 1GBASE-SX SFP Optical Transceiver is a
high-performance, small form-factor pluggable module designed for bidirectional
serial optical data communications in Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-SX) and Fibre
Channel (FC-PH2) applications. It supports reliable short-reach optical
transmission over multimode fiber, making it ideal for enterprise networks,
data centers, and high-density switching environments.
The module operates at a nominal wavelength of 850 nm and
utilizes an advanced VCSEL laser transmitter with a high-sensitivity photodiode
receiver to deliver stable performance and low bit-error rates. It supports data
rates up to 1.25 Gb/s and provides transmission distances of up to 550 meters
over 50/125 µm multimode fiber and 300 meters over 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber.
Housed in a compact hot-pluggable SFP form factor with a
standard 20-pin edge connector, the transceiver enables flexible deployment,
easy upgrades, and seamless integration into a wide range of networking
platforms.
