SVNK 100G QSFP28 BiDi Optical Transceiver (Duplex LC, MMF)
The SVNK 100G QSFP28 BiDi Optical Transceiver is a
high-performance optical module designed for short-range duplex data
communication and high-density interconnect applications. It enables 100 Gb/s
Ethernet transmission over a standard duplex LC multimode fiber, significantly
reducing fiber count while maintaining high bandwidth and excellent signal
integrity.
The transceiver integrates four 25.78125 Gb/s electrical
lanes in each direction, compliant with the 100GE XLPPI interface. Internally,
the module multiplexes the 4 × 25G electrical signals into two 50G electrical
channels, which are then transmitted and received optically over two simplex LC
fibers using bidirectional (BiDi) optical technology. This advanced
architecture delivers an aggregate throughput of 100 Gb/s over a single duplex
LC cable.
The optical engine incorporates integrated 850 nm and 910 nm
VCSEL transmitters and high-sensitivity photodiode receivers, enabling stable,
low-error transmission over multimode fiber links up to 100 meters. Precision
optical alignment and advanced signal conditioning ensure excellent eye
performance, low jitter, and consistent operation in dense data center
environments.
Housed in a compact, hot-pluggable QSFP28 form factor, the
module is optimized for power efficiency, thermal stability, and
interoperability across modern switching and server platforms.
