The SVNK 40G QSFP+ Breakout Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a high-performance interconnect solution designed for seamless connectivity between 40G QSFP+ ports and multiple 10G SFP+ ports. Also known as a QSFP+ splitter AOC or fan-out AOC, this breakout cable enables a single 40G port to be deployed as four independent 10G links, providing flexible network expansion and efficient port utilization.

This assembly integrates one QSFP+ module on one end and four SFP+ modules on the other, interconnected by fixed-length OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber. Each of the four parallel bi-directional channels operates at 10.3125 Gb/s, delivering an aggregate bandwidth of over 40 Gb/s.

Compared to copper breakout cables, SVNK AOC breakout cables are lighter, thinner, and more flexible, enabling improved airflow, easier cable management, and reliable performance over longer distances—ideal for high-density data center and HPC environments.

The cable is fully compliant with QSFP+ MSA (SFF-8436), SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431), IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4, IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR, and InfiniBand SDR/DDR/QDR standards, ensuring broad interoperability across leading networking platforms.
