The SVNK 400G QSFP-DD Breakout Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a high-performance optical interconnect solution designed to enable flexible 400G to 4×100G breakout connectivity in modern data center, cloud, and high-performance computing environments. This assembly allows a single 400G QSFP-DD port on a switch to connect to four independent 100G ports, optimizing port utilization and supporting scalable network architectures.

The cable integrates eight parallel electrical and optical lanes on the 400G end, which are fanned out into four parallel-lane groups at the 100G ends. Each lane operates at 53.125 Gb/s using PAM4 modulation, delivering an aggregate bandwidth of up to 400 Gb/s. The assembly transmits 8 × 50G PAM4 parallel signals over high-quality multimode fiber (MMF), supporting distances of up to 70 m on OM3 and 100 m on OM4/OM5.

Built with advanced 850 nm VCSEL transmitters and high-sensitivity PIN photodetectors, along with integrated signal conditioning and retiming, the cable ensures excellent signal integrity, low bit-error rates, and consistent high-speed performance. It is fully compliant with QSFP-DD MSA, CMIS 4.0, IEEE 802.3cm 400GBASE-SR8, and InfiniBand HDR/HDR100, ensuring broad interoperability across modern networking platforms.

Housed in a compact, hot-pluggable QSFP-DD to QSFP form factor, the SVNK breakout AOC supports high port density, simplified cabling, and rapid deployment. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) provides real-time insight into operating conditions for proactive network management.
