The SVNK 400GBASE-SR8 optical transceiver is a high-performance, short-reach module engineered for 400 Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE) connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF) using a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. Designed for next-generation data centers, cloud infrastructures, and high-performance computing environments, this transceiver delivers ultra-high-speed parallel optical interconnects with excellent power efficiency and signal integrity.

Compliant with QSFP-DD MSA, IEEE 802.3bs / 802.3cd, and 400GAUI-8 / CEI-56G VSR PAM4 standards, the module integrates eight full-duplex optical lanes, each operating at up to 53.125 Gb/s PAM4, enabling an aggregate throughput of up to 425 Gb/s. The transceiver supports transmission distances of up to 70 m over OM3 and 100 m over OM4 multimode fiber with FEC.

The optical engine incorporates a high-efficiency 850 nm VCSEL laser array and high-sensitivity PIN photodiodes, along with integrated CDR circuits on both transmitter and receiver, ensuring stable operation, low bit-error rates, and strong eye margins. A high-density MPO-16 optical interface supports parallel fiber connectivity for modern high-bandwidth switch and accelerator fabrics.

Housed in a compact hot-pluggable QSFP-DD form factor, the module enables high front-panel density and efficient thermal performance. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) via an I²C interface provides real-time diagnostics and proactive network management.
