The SVNK 100G QSFP28 ER4 Optical Transceiver is a high-performance optical module engineered for long-reach optical communication applications and fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-ER4 specification. The module converts four 25G electrical input channels into four LAN-WDM optical wavelengths, which are multiplexed into a single high-speed optical stream for 100 Gb/s transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). On the receiver side, the incoming optical signal is demultiplexed back into four LAN-WDM channels and converted into four high-speed electrical outputs.

The transmitter section integrates high-performance cooled LAN-WDM EML lasers, delivering excellent optical output power, wavelength stability, and superior signal integrity. On the receive side, high-sensitivity PIN + SOA detectors provide enhanced optical sensitivity, enabling reliable long-distance transmission with low bit-error rates over links of up to 40 km. Advanced optical design and integrated retiming circuits ensure consistent performance in demanding enterprise, carrier, and data-center environments.

Housed in a compact, hot-pluggable QSFP28 form factor, the module supports internal Clock and Data Recovery (CDR) on both transmit and receive channels, with optional CDR bypass, enabling excellent jitter tolerance, system flexibility, and interoperability with a wide range of platforms.
