SVNK 1.6T OSFP-XD DR8 Optical Transceiver
The SVNK 1.6T OSFP-XD DR8 Optical Transceiver is a
next-generation, ultra-high-speed optical module designed to enable 1.6 Tb/s
Ethernet connectivity over distances of up to 500 meters on single-mode fiber
(SMF). Housed in a compact, hot-pluggable OSFP-XD form factor, the module is
optimized for hyperscale data centers, AI fabrics, and next-generation
switching and routing platforms where bandwidth density, power efficiency, and
signal integrity are mission-critical.
This transceiver supports 16 independent electrical
input/output channels operating at 106.25 Gb/s each and 8 parallel optical
channels operating at 212.5 Gb/s each using PAM4 modulation. The architecture
integrates dual transmitter/receiver engines, with the transmitter section
utilizing a cooled 1310/1311 nm EML laser, delivering superior optical
performance, extended reach, and excellent thermal stability.
The electrical interface complies with the IEEE P802.3df 2 ×
800GAUI-8 standard, enabling seamless integration into next-generation 1.6T
switching ASIC platforms. At the core of the module is an advanced DSP
fabricated on leading-edge 5 nm process technology, delivering high-speed
signal processing, retiming, and error correction while keeping typical power
consumption to approximately 22 W, supporting dense, high-port-count
deployments.
