The SVNK 400G QSFP-DD to 8×50G SFP56 Passive Copper Cable (PCC)—also known as a Direct Attach Copper (DAC) or Twinax cable—is a high-performance, cost-effective interconnect solution designed for short-reach 400G Ethernet to 50G Ethernet breakout applications in data centers and high-performance computing environments.

This breakout DAC enables a single 400G QSFP-DD (QSFP56-DD) port to connect directly to eight independent 50G SFP56 ports, supporting flexible network architectures such as 400G-to-8×50G or 2×200G to 8×50G topologies. The cable integrates eight high-speed copper differential pairs, with each lane operating at up to 53.125 Gb/s using PAM4 modulation, delivering an aggregate bandwidth of up to 425 Gb/s.

As a fully passive solution, the SVNK PCC requires no external power, resulting in ultra-low latency, zero active electronics, minimal EMI emission, and extremely low power consumption. This makes it ideal for short-distance connections inside racks and between adjacent racks, where power efficiency, reliability, and signal integrity are critical.

The cable is fully compliant with QSFP-DD MSA and SFP56 MSA specifications and is engineered for excellent channel performance, featuring low insertion loss, low crosstalk, and a tight bend radius for flexible routing in dense cabling environments.
