The SVNK 400G QSFP-DD LR4 optical transceiver is a high-performance, long-reach module engineered to support 400 Gigabit Ethernet (400GbE) connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF) with transmission distances of up to 10 kilometers. Designed for next-generation data centers, cloud networks, and enterprise backbones, this module enables reliable ultra-high-speed optical interconnects with excellent power efficiency and signal integrity.

Built on 400GBASE-LR4 technology, the transceiver converts 8 channels of 53.125 Gb/s PAM4 electrical signals (400GAUI-8) into 4 channels of 106.25 Gb/s CWDM optical signals, which are wavelength-multiplexed for full-duplex 400 Gb/s optical transmission over a duplex LC interface. On the receiver side, the optical signal is de-multiplexed back into four CWDM lanes and converted into eight high-speed electrical outputs.

The optical engine integrates high-performance CWDM transmitters and high-sensitivity receivers, along with advanced DSP and retiming circuitry, ensuring excellent signal integrity, low bit-error rates, and strong tolerance to chromatic dispersion and thermal variation across long-reach links.

Housed in a compact QSFP-DD form factor, the module supports hot-plug operation, high port density, and efficient thermal design, making it ideal for dense switching environments. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) via a two-wire I²C interface enables real-time diagnostics and proactive network maintenance.
