SVNK 400G OSFP SR8 Optical Transceiver (MMF, up to 100 m)
The SVNK 400G OSFP SR8 Optical Transceiver is a
high-performance short-reach module engineered to support 400 Gigabit Ethernet
(400GbE) connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF). Designed for distances of up
to 100 meters, this transceiver is optimized for next-generation data centers,
cloud infrastructure, and high-performance computing environments requiring
ultra-high-speed, low-latency interconnects.
Fully aligned with IEEE 802.3cd (400GBASE-SR8)
specifications, the module converts high-speed electrical signals into eight
parallel optical channels, each operating at 50 Gb/s PAM4. It integrates an
advanced 850 nm VCSEL-based transmitter array and high-sensitivity receivers to
deliver excellent signal integrity, low bit-error rates, and stable short-reach
performance.
On the electrical side, the transceiver supports a 400GAUI-8
interface (8 × 50G PAM4) with integrated retiming for reliable ultra-high-speed
operation. The optical interface uses a high-density MPO-16 connector, enabling
efficient parallel-fiber connectivity and high port density.
Housed in a compact, hot-pluggable OSFP form factor, the
module is optimized for power efficiency, thermal stability, and scalable
deployment. Built-in Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM/DDM) via the I²C
management interface enables real-time diagnostics and proactive network
management.
